The electret condenser capsule's cardioid polar pattern rejects sound behind the microphone to yield a stronger focus on sources in front of the mic. The supplied shockmount attaches to the shoe mount of your camera and mitigates the transfer of vibration and camera handling noise.

Miniature Form Factor

Measuring just over 3" long, the Mic-M1 can be added to your shooting rig without getting in the way. Since it weighs under an ounce, you'll hardly notice its presence even when using point-and-shoot cameras.

Directional Sound Pickup

Most mics built into cameras and mobile devices pick up sound from all directions, but the Mic-M1 utilizes a cardioid polar pattern to deliver front-facing directionality while attenuating sound entering from the rear, capturing more of your subject and less ambient noise.

Easy Connectivity with Cameras and Mobile Devices

The Mic-M1 is designed for compatibility with an array of devices. It includes a detachable 3.5mm TRS cable for hookup to your camera, DSLR, or portable audio recorder and a detachable 3.5mm TRRS cable for connection to a smartphone or tablet.

No Batteries or Phantom Power Required

Don't worry about keeping a stash of batteries or having to use devices that supply phantom power. The Mic-M1 runs on plug-in power from your camera or mobile device, so you can just connect the mic and start recording.

Shockmount Enhances Isolation

The removable shockmount conveniently attaches to the shoe mount of your camera, isolating the mic from vibrations and camera handling noise to give you a cleaner audio signal.

Wind Muff and Windshield Included

The Mic-M1 is supplied with a cotton wind muff and a specialized windshield to provide flexible wind noise attenuation when shooting indoors or outside.
